DANIEL WIENER
Daniel Wiener is the Founder and President of the Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation as well as the Head of Investor Relations and Board Member of the innovative Swiss logistics system Cargo sous Terrain. He is co-founder and board member of the UNEP Collaborating Center BASE. This has supported the financing of sustainable energy solutions in developing and emerging countries since 2002. The economist and art’s manager was a co-founder and later a member of the board of trustees, now Senior Advisor, of the Gold Standard Foundation for climate protection. After many years of entrepreneurial activity, he now works as a consultant for sustainable development in Basel.
Since 2019 Daniel is a Member of the World Future Council on Infrastructure at the World Economic Forum.
With Daniel, we will focus on the importance of mediation in the negotiation process. We will discuss the right timing for both formal and informal negotiations.
