Winning Negotiation Tactic #3: Agenda
Setting an agenda is an essential tactic to help you lead in negotiations from the very beginning!
– Define three topics and provide sufficient room to maneuver.
– Set a time limit for each agenda item.
– Never accept the agenda of the opposing party. Instead, negotiate elements such as an order of agenda items or time spent on each.
