PROF. DR. MICHAEL SALLER

Michael Saller is a full professor of economic law at the Ernst-Abbe University of Applied Sciences in Jena (Germany) and Special Counsel for Competition Law at a leading German law firm. Before becoming a professor, Michael Saller worked as a senior expert at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, leading projects in Romania, Mexico and ASEAN (2015-2020), as a Beisitzer (rapporteur) at the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt 2009-2015), as a lawyer at Latham and Watkins and Shearman and Sterling (2005-2009) and as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (2003-2005). Mr. Saller holds a PhD in Law from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and a Magister of European and Comparative Law from the University of Oxford.
